The 'Sisterhood' Reunites To Celebrate America Ferrera's Baby And We're Sobbing
This photo makes 2005 feel like just yesterday
Hopefully your 2018 is already going great. But in case you need something to make it absolutely amazing, America Ferrera and the rest of the Sisterhood just delivered.
Ferrera kicked off the new year by reuniting with a few very old friends: Amber Tamlyn, Alexis Bledel and Blake Lively. That’s right — the entire Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants got back together again. Try not to squeal with glee when you see the photo.
In the shot, Ferrera, Tamblyn, Bledel and Lively are snuggled up on a couch together, pretty much looking like no time at all has passed since they starred in the 2005 film adaptation of Ann Brashares’ novel. And are those the actual pants that Lively is wearing? It’s hard to tell for sure, but if they aren’t the exact pair, they’re definitely a nod to the magical pants that brought these four together over a decade ago. This is the throwback to end all throwbacks. Takes you right back to these days, doesn’t it?

There’s also a nod in the caption to Hollywood’s #TIMESUP movement to combat sexual harassment in the entertainment industry, which all four women have supported on social media.
The tight-knit crew were together to celebrate Ferrera’s pregnancy news, which she announced on Instagram a day before she and Tamblyn posted this nostalgia-inducing shot.
This incredible reunion came just a few weeks after Tamblyn teased us with a throwback snap of the Sisterhood back in the day. “This is as good as any #tbt to end the year on. Goodnight, ‘17. See you all in the ‘18,” she wrote.
Who knew the throwback shots were about to get so much better than that? Bless Carmen, Tibby, Lena and Bee for helping us ring in the new year in the best possible way. With our favorite Sisters.
