Ryan Reynolds Hilariously 'Reveals' Baby Daughter's Name
Ryan Reynolds is trolling everyone about the name he and wife Blake Lively chose for their third baby
Ryan Reynolds and his wife, Blake Lively, gave birth to their third daughter in October. While we know the names of their older daughters (James and Inez, respectively), mum’s been the word on their newest bundle of joy. That is, until he hilariously “revealed” the baby’s name on the TODAY show this morning.
After Hoda asked how he and Blake came up with the name of their third (a clever way to get the actor to publicly confirm what the name actually is), Reynolds quipped, “We haven’t yet! We’re gonna be original, and all the letters in her name are silent.”
Amazing. He continued, “I want to give her something to push against in life.”
He also discussed how trolling Blake on social media is one of his favorite things to do — and honestly, don’t we all kind of love it? TODAY co-anchor Craig Melvin asked Reynolds how Lively feels about it when he posts unflattering photos of her online for all to see. Of course Reynolds gave the perfect answer:
“Well, I actually, I’ve never met her,” he replied, stone-faced. “We actually only exist as a couple online. It’s manufactured by the studio system, and it’s worked out pretty well for us, really. I’m actually married to a woman named Louise in Denmark. We have four kids, and it’s been amazing!”
LOL.
He was on the show promoting his new movie, Free Guy, but also joined actress Monica Ruiz — most notoriously known as “Peleton Girl” — as she talked about being hired by Reynolds and his company, Aviation Gin, to star in a redemption commercial (which was, of course, incredibly funny and a genius, timely use of the news cycle).
“For us, it seemed like a no-brainer and it was a lot of fun to do. It was a rush. We did this thing in 36 hours.” A no-brainer indeed — it’s not only advertising done right, it’s a great chance for Ruiz to show her awesome acting chops in a way that won’t divide the internet.

Reynolds, who has three daughters with Lively, was also asked how he “handles” being the only guy in a house full of women. While this question was likely asked with good intentions and to keep things light, it’s actually kind of an annoying question that most parents who have multiple children of one sex are asked. A lot.
Naturally, Reynolds “handled it” perfectly: “It’s all women, and I would have it no other way,” he says. “I’m doing my part to wipe men off the face of the earth.”
