Priyanka Gave A Sleepy Nick Jonas A Puppy And The Video Will Make Your Day
We are extremely jealous of Nick Jonas’ early anniversary present from Priyanka Chopra
If we were to rank all the different ways a person can be woken up in the morning, the spectrum would look something like this: On the low end, things like natural disasters, construction noise, and hearing your animal start to make that pre-vomit horking sound somewhere across the house. On the high end, having a new puppy tossed into bed with you. That’s how Nick Jonas got to wake up one morning this week, that lucky, lucky man, when Priyanka Chopra presented him with his anniversary gift a little early.
“Pri came home with the absolute best surprise this morning,” Jonas wrote in the caption. “I haven’t stopped smiling since I woke up this morning and finally realized what was going on.”
The video is pretty hilarious as an extremely groggy Jonas takes more than a few minutes to realize what’s happening after Chopra puts the sweet pup in bed with him. Which, fair. Waking up is hard, even when it’s an adorable German Shepherd puppy that’s snuggling and face-licking you into consciousness.
Jonas and Chopra are celebrating their first wedding anniversary this weekend, Dec. 1. That means the sweet pup is an early gift, and considering how over-the-top this pair’s multiple weddings were, we have a feeling this probably isn’t the only gift exchange we’ll see these two doing on social media over the next few days.
Oh, and for anyone who’s wondering (*author raises hand slowly*), Priyanka and Jonas have since named their sweet new pup Gino, and promised he isn’t replacing Diana, the adorable Chihuahua they already share. And yes, Gino already has his own Instagram account, which has already managed to rack up more than 200,000 followers. Not surprising, considering how adorable the little dude is.
