Meghan Posts A Gorgeous New Photo Of Baby Archie And It Will Melt Your Heart
The Duchess of Sussex shared a collage of images which included a new photo of young Archie
Meghan Markle, Duchess of Sussex, posted an adorable collage of pictures of her husband, Prince Harry to mark his 35th birthday. In it, she included a sweet, never-seen-before picture of baby Archie at his christening.

“Your service to the causes you care so deeply for inspires me every day. You are the best husband and most amazing dad to our son. We love you. Happiest birthday!” the message, posted on the Sussex Royal account, reads.
The post is filled with sweet photos of Prince Harry growing up, like one with his mother, Princess Diana, another with Prince William, and of he and Meghan on their wedding day. But it’s the photo with baby Archie that has everyone talking. The photo was taken by royal photographer, Chris Allerton, and captures an adorable moment between the couple. They both appear smitten, staring at sweet baby Archie.
The couple shared a few pictures of his christening back in July with the entire family, stating, “This morning, The Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s son, Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor was christened in the Private Chapel at Windsor Castle at an intimate service officiated by the Archbishop of Canterbury, Justin Welby.” But the new photo shows such an intimate moment of the trio that it’s impossible not to smile when you see it.
The gown worn by Archie was commissioned by Queen Victoria in 1841, and was worn by Queen Elizabeth, all of her children, and all of her grandchildren. A replica was made in 2004 and has been worn by Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis, as well.
Meghan posted another sweet photo of Archie on Father’s Day, writing, “Happy Father’s Day! And wishing a very special first Father’s Day to The Duke of Sussex.”
I mean, look at that face! It’s too much.
The Instagram post comes a week before the family leaves for Africa, Archie’s first trip to the place adored by Harry and now, Meghan. Harry will also visit Angola, Malawi, and Botswana between September 23rd and October 2nd and will focus on “community, grassroots leadership, women’s and girls’ rights, mental health, HIV/AIDS, and the environment,” CNN reports.
Markle gave birth to Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor on May 6th and the world has been dying for any and all new pictures of the lovely family ever since. Here’s hoping this is only the beginning of watching Archie grow up (and maybe chase his younger siblings?) so we can ogle over them forever and ever.
