Happy Birthday, Princess Diana

When I think of Princess Diana, I don’t think of the princess, I think of the mother, taken at the age of 36 from her boys, never to meet her grandchildren. The period of intense public mourning that followed her death in 1997 has never really stopped, as her children grow up and marry and have their own children—as we watch their joys and triumphs in her place. We celebrate for her. Below, some of our favorite pictures of the Princess of Wales.
