Chris Hemsworth’s first job was cleaning out breast pumps in Australia

Chris Hemsworth is a very hunky movie star. This is just, a true fact. But if you haven’t jumped on the “Chris Hemsworth is surprisingly funny and cool too” bandwagon, we suggest you hop on immediately. His turn as “Washed Up Thor” in Avengers: Endgame was literal perfection and if you wanna drop into a Hemsworth hole, just spend a few hours watching all his Avengers promo interviews, but we digress. Hemsworth stopped by The Tonight Show to play a round of “Would I Lie to You?” which is a segment where Jimmy Fallon and two celebrities take turns stating bizarre facts about themselves and they all have to guess whether it’s a true story or a lie.

Hemsworth, Fallon, and fellow celebrity guest Kumail Nanjiani played a round of the truth-or-fiction game and Hemsworth kicked it off with the bizarre story that his “first job was cleaning out breast pumps.” Naturally, Fallon and Nanjiani were like, “Whaaaaattt?” and dove in with a million questions.

Hemsworth said he did this job when he was 14 and worked at a pharmacy that rented out breast pumps. When the pumps would come back in, it was his job to clean them out and occasionally repair them.

“Pharmacies would rent them out and they would come back covered in dried milk,” Hemsworth deadpanned. “So I’d have a toothbrush and I’d clean the milk out.”

After a bit of deliberation, the guys assumed that Hemsworth was lying to which Hemsworth retorted that it was “all true.”

“Do the women who used these breast pumps now know that Chris Hemsworth cleaned their breast pumps?” Nanjiani joked, before adding, “and can we buy them on Ebay?”

And then a few of the girls started Googling your name and up came this dancing video and I thought, oh no, Thor dancing? I don’t know, the fans are gonna eat us alive.'”

Hemsworth retort was: “It made me more nimble on my feet, I guess.”
