There's A 'Hocus Pocus' Makeup Collection Just In Time For Halloween

ColourPop launches affordable Hocus Pocus makeup collection online and at Ulta

Depending on who you ask, October is either referred to as a fall month, the spooky season, or Hocus Pocus time. If you fall into the later camp and adore all things about the witchy classic film, then gather ’round sisters, and listen up. To celebrate the first day of October, ColourPop cosmetics teamed up with Disney on an official Hocus Pocus cosmetics collection so you can get dolled up like a Sanderson Sister for your socially distant Halloween plans.

“We’ve waited 300 years for this collection,” ColourPop joked online, but it’s true — a Hocus Pocus-inspired makeup set inspired by the jewel tones of fall and witchcraft is long overdue, but now you can finally own a Sarah Sanderson lip and eye set or a deep red lip kit called “I Put A Spell On You,” among other things.

The Hocus Pocus collection is available online now at ColourPop.com and will head to select Ulta stores and Ulta.com on Sunday, October 4.

The entire collection is $130, which includes the Gather Round Sisters eye shadow Palette, the Sanderson Sisters Lux Lipstick Kits, 3 Créme Gel Liners, 2 Glitterally Obsessed Gels, and 3 witchy False Lashes. And like all things ColourPop, the emphasis is on vibrant, highly-pigmented shadows and shades.

But if you don’t need the entire collection, there are smaller lip and eye sets created with each Sanderson sister in mind, like the Winnie Sanderson set, which includes the Gather Round Sisters Palette (it includes 15 different witchy eyeshadow shades), the I Put A Spell On You Lipstick Kit in a deep red, the Boss Witch False Lashes, and a Créme Gel Liner in a gorgeous turquoise. And all of that will only set you back $49, which is actually how much I paid for one MAC eyeshadow palette that was basically just eight different shades of brown.

There are also tons of one-off products to purchase, like the I Smell Children lip kit ($16)…

…or the Just A Bunch Of Hocus Pocus glitter gel sets ($16), for the ladies who want an extra helping of glitter to go with their eyeshadow. Fun fact: the purple glitter is called “amok, amok, amok, amok!” and LOL.

There are also three different a ‘la carte gel eyeliners like the Trick or Treat gel liner ($8) in deep violet, which could be a cute color to rock year-round and not just for the spooky season.
