This 'Elf'-Inspired Suite Is The Ultimate In Christmas Cheer
If Christmas cheer is your thing, you need to book this “Elf”-inspired suite immediately
If you know someone who put their Christmas tree up on November 1st and would happily eat spaghetti covered in candy and maple syrup, then you need to book them a stay in this extremely tricked out Elf-inspired suite in New York City.
That’s right — it’s an entire suite inspired by the holiday classic film Elf. Everyone knows that the best way to spread Christmas cheer is singing loud for all to hear, but that singing will sound a whole lot sweeter coming from this gorgeous room. It’s at the Club Wyndham Midtown 45 in Manhattan and they nailed every single detail from the beloved movie. Buddy would definitely approve.
I mean, this is a lot to take in. If you’ve got even a bit of Will Ferrell’s classic character in you, this is probably the scene in your house right now:
Ok, so let’s slow it all down and see how some super creative folks (who clearly love this film like we do) got down to business and created a literal Christmas dreamworld inside of a one-bedroom suite:
They thought of everything and it’s available for booking starting November 25th for stays through the month of December. Nights start at $399, but they include more than just a fun place to sleep. Booking the suite comes with the added perks of complimentary admission for four to the Empire State Building and Rockefeller Center. Sounds like Buddy’s dream day, right down to returning to his festive room full of seasonal decor.
They strung paper chains, snowflakes, and popcorn garland all over the ceiling and set up a gorgeous Christmas tree in one corner. Of course, there’s a “welcome” sign made entirely with Buddy’s favorite medium — Lite Brites.
The gift-wrapped mural wall viewable from that super cozy bed is a real highlight.
“Every detail of this ‘Elf’-inspired suite was designed to put families in awe from the moment they walk in,”says Noah Brodsky, chief brand officer for Wyndham Destinations, in a press release. And brace yourselves for a sugar crash, parents — this place has everything needed to create Buddy’s culinary masterpieces.
“In the kitchen, ribbons cover the cabinets and a full-size fridge is stocked with elves’ four essential food groups – candy, candy canes, candy corn and maple syrup. Families will have everything they need to prepare a Buddy the Elf-inspired meal in the suite’s fully equipped kitchen, with treats including spaghetti, marshmallows, chocolate sauce, Pop-Tarts, rolls of cookie dough, M&Ms and, of course, liters of soda.” Naturally.
Who knew it was possible to make a bathroom this magical? Get ready to sing “Baby It’s Cold Outside” (but maybe the more woke John Legend/Kelly Clarkson version?) in this totally festive space.
If this sounds like your holiday jam, better get booking after November 25th — we’re guessing these reservations will go like hotcakes. Or candy-coated spaghetti.
