The Royal Baby's Name Is Absolutely Adorable

The royal baby’s name has been revealed along with a sweet family photo

We got our first glimpse of the latest royal baby this morning with his adorably over-the-moon parents, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, aka Meghan Markle and Prince Harry. And now, we know his name!

Introducing Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor, with his proud parents, great-grandmother Queen Elizabeth, great-grandfather Prince Philip, and grandmother Doria Ragland. We have died of sweetness.

We are getting our first look at Ragland, Markle’s mother, and her first grandchild. She completely stole our hearts last year as the proud and stunning mother-of-the-bride, so it’s completely heartwarming seeing her in this role too. We would like an entire Instagram account dedicated to Doria and Archie immediately, please. Thank you.

The couple greeted a few members of the press earlier today and told them a little bit about the first days of having sweet Archie home. “It’s magic, it’s pretty amazing,” Meghan said when asked how new motherhood is treating her. “I have the two best guys in the world, so I’m really happy. He has the sweetest temperament, he’s really calm.”

Harry added that they don’t yet know who he looks like, but they’re happy to watch him grow and change. “Everyone says that babies change so much over two weeks. We’re basically monitoring how the changing process happens over this next month really,” he said. “But his looks are changing every single day, so who knows.”

We heard from Prince Harry within hours of his new son’s arrival and he had only adorable things to say about his new life as a dad. “I’m very excited to announce that Meghan and myself had a baby boy early this morning, a very healthy boy. Mother and baby are doing incredibly well. It’s been the most amazing experience I could ever have possibly imagined,” he gushed.

“How any woman does what they do is beyond comprehension but we’re both absolutely thrilled and so grateful for all the love and support from everybody out there,” he says. “It’s been amazing.”

We love this sweet new family-of-three and can’t wait to see more photos of baby Archie as he grows up royal.
