Harry And Meghan’s Official Wedding Portraits Are Here And They’re Gorgeous
Kensington Palace has released three official photos from Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s wedding
Unless you live under a rock, you’ve no doubt seen plenty of photos from this past weekend’s royal wedding — and they’re pretty much all incredible. Prince Harry and Meghan Markle (ahem, now known as the Duke and Duchess of Sussex) made a stunning bridal couple, and images from their special day are continuing to slay us. Now, we have even more photos to squeal over as the Palace has released a few of the official portraits taken that day.
Kensington Palace shared three images on both their Twitter and Instagram accounts, and they’re simply perfect.
The first is the entire family gathered around the glowing bride and groom.
The image shows Prince Charles and Camilla Parker Bowles, Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip, Prince William and Duchess Catherine, Markle’s mother Doria Ragland, and of course, the crew of teeny bridesmaids and pageboys, including Prince George and Princess Charlotte. Everyone is beaming and rightly so — it was a perfect day celebrating the love of this legit magical couple.
The second photo is a real ovary exploder as the kid-filled bridal party surrounds the happy Duke and Duchess. Harry looks completely at east around little ones (oh please let there be another royal baby soon, we need this) and Meghan is serene as can be. Please note Prince George’s adorable cheesy grin, very likely coaxed out by the promise of wedding cake later. I might not know him personally, but I do know four-year-old boys, and formal photos aren’t their fave thing.
The last is a breathtaking image that speaks way more than a thousand words — these two are in L-O-V-E. Shared in timeless black and white, Harry and Meghan look utterly perfect together, relaxing after officially becoming husband and wife.
For his part, the photographer, Alexi Lubomirski, who also took the couple’s engagement portraits, was honored to be a part of the historic occasion and shared the image as well along with a sweet message.
“It has been an incredible honor and privilege to document the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s inspiring journey of love, hope and family; from the engagement photos, all the way through to the official wedding and family portraits on Saturday,” he writes. “This has been a beautiful chapter in my career and life, that I will happily never forget.”
If you need me, I’ll be happy-sighing from here until eternity.
