Kim Kardashian shares the first photo of her son, Saint West
Kim Kardashian shared a photo of her three-month-old son, Saint West, today — on what would have been her father’s 72nd birthday. Robert Kardashian died in 2003, and as such, never got a chance to meet his grandchildren. It’s the first photo Kardashian has shared of her second child.
“Today is my dad’s birthday. I know there’s nothing more in the world he would have wanted than to meet his grandchildren. So I wanted to share this pic of Saint with you all,” Kim wrote next to the photo of Saint she posted to her blog this morning.

“Happy Birthday dad! I can’t believe you would have been 72 today,” she wrote. “So much has gone on in our lives since you’ve been gone, and I know you have been my guardian angel seeing everything unfold! I love you and miss you so much!”
It’s so hard to lose a parent before you have your children. My father died before he met my children and the void that’s left in my life and the bottomless pain I feel that he never got to meet his grandchildren is indescribable. My son looks so much like his grandfather: he has the same skin tone, the same hairline, and the same furrowed brow. With his long legs, and baby belly, he even has my father’s stance. It’s a surreal feeling to know that they will never meet. I never thought something Kim Kardashian said would make me weep. There’s a first for everything, I guess.
Saint West was born on December 5, 2015. Kardashian has only shared one photo of the child before today. It’s a fitting tribute to her father. And my god… this baby is GORGEOUS.
