Your Kids Are Going To Flip Over IHOP's Grinch-Inspired Menu
IHOP has a new Grinch-inspired menu and it’ll put you in the holiday spirit immediately
What do you get when you combine fluffy pancakes with the meanest, crankiest Dr. Seuss character out there? A brand new Grinch-inspired menu at IHOP, that features literally the most magical-looking breakfast you’ll ever see.
Welcome to Whoville, everybody. Prepare for a whole lot of green.
The menu is being released alongside the premiere of the new animated film The Grinch, which hits theaters on November 9th. So, basically, you can go hang out with the whole Who gang and then head to IHOP for some delightfully green pancakes and hot chocolate.
We know that sounds weird…We swear it actually looks really good.
Okay, so, first up we’ve got the Grinch’s Green Pancakes, which are buttermilk pancakes topped off with cream cheese icing, red candy hearts, and green whipped cream. If that’s not quite Grinch-y enough for you, there’s also a Minty Who Hot Chocolate, which is made with mint syrup, a green whipped cream topping, and sprinklings of red candy hearts.
Are you officially feeling sufficiently evil? Watch out, townsfolk of Whoville.
That’s not all. There’s also a Who-Roast Beast Omelette, which is packed with (deep breaths) shredded beef, Monterey Jack and Cheddar cheeses, sautéed jalapeños, onions, and golden hash browns. That’s all topped off with a tangy BBQ sauce, shredded cheese and a Serrano pepper. There’s also three Buttermilk pancakes on the side. Odds are that you’ll definitely fall into a food coma until Christmas, and there’s nothing wrong with that at all.
The kids menu is slightly less overwhelming. But only slightly. They’ll get their own kid-sized Minty Who Hot Chocolate and the Mt. Crumpit Kids Combo. In case you want to drool even more, that combo includes: one Grinch Green buttermilk pancake topped off with sweet cream cheese icing, red candy hearts, and green whipped topping and one scrambled egg, one bacon strip, and one pork sausage link.
Behold.
The best part? Kids eat for free during the dinner hours (4pm-10pm) during this promotion – so bring on all those Grinch pancakes for the entire family, please. It would only be on-brand if you snagged a few of those green bad boys for yourself, too.
Here’s to a Christmas filled with so much pancakes and hot chocolate. Dr. Seuss would approve.
