Meet The Team Improving Mothers’ Lives In Connie Britton’s New Unscripted Series The Motherhood
Grab your tissues and your village.

To make the understatement of the century, being a single mom is not easy. Actress Connie Britton understands that. As a single mom herself, she’s intimately familiar with what it takes to raise a kid on your own. Plus, she knows how much of a difference a solid support system can make. That’s why she’s helping a lucky group of women build that support structure in her new show The Motherhood (premiering Monday, May 5 on Hallmark Channel at 8/7c, streaming next day on Hallmark+).
Through each of the season’s six episodes, The Motherhood follows Connie and a team of experts as they help single moms who could use their own village. Dubbed the Neighbor Ladies, this team of specialists consists of DIY and home design expert Angela Rose, positive parenting coach Destini Ann, and style and self-love expert Taryn Hicks. After listening to the single mother’s story, exploring her space, and getting a sense of her challenges, the Neighbor Ladies devise a strategy of how to best support her in the transformation she’s seeking. By each episode’s end, the hero mom has a newfound sense of self… plus a new wardrobe and a made-over home that fits her and her kids’ needs.
You’ll laugh, you’ll relate, you’ll reach for the tissues, but above all, you’ll be moved when you hear a fellow mom share her story. How much they deserve the love and care they’re so used to giving to others really hits home. Let’s just say it’ll give you all the feels watching these single moms realize it all. Before you tune in, meet the fabulous team of Connie and the Neighbor Ladies, whose genuine emotional investment in each mom they meet makes the show so special.
