Orlando, Florida

When it comes to vacations, when has Florida ever been a letdown? Take the kids to Orlando to visit Mickey at Disney World. Or check out Universal Studios Florida for its magical attraction, The Wizarding World of Harry Potter. The Potterheads in your family will lose their minds.

Las Vegas, Nevada

Wondering where you can take your kids in Sin City? Contrary to popular belief, there are tons of spaces for little ones. Try Hershey's Chocolate World or, if your child is an animal lover, Shark Reef Aquarium has 14 shark habitats that'll blow their mind. There's also Marvel's Avengers Station, which is full of hero history and fun!

Denver, Colorado

Nature is calling! Colorado is perfect for active families. Cherry Creek State Park is 20 minutes outside of Denver, with excellent terrain for little ones. It’s the best of both worlds since you can enjoy the beautiful landscapes and hiking trails while still getting some of that Denver city life.

Boston, Massachusetts

If you want to incorporate a little learning into your vacay, go to Boston. Visit historic forts like Fort Independence at Castle Island or Fort Warren on Georges Island. While you're at it, visit the Harvard Museum of Natural History for some science lessons. There are over 12,000 specimens from the Ivy League's research collection.

Miami, Florida

If the kids are with Grandma, embark on a romantic sailing adventure for two on the Biscayne Bay. Or load up the kids for a day trip to the Bahamas or a sightseeing boat trip along the coast. And thankfully, you’re never too far from a beach here, so soak up some sun between adventures.

Anaheim, California

Head on over to Disneyland, but if you're looking for something less crowded (and a little cheaper), Adventure City is also a great option. You can also take the family to visit the Flightdeck Flight Simulation Center, which is an experience that’ll take the whole family sky high.

Anchorage, Alaska

Sure, you can visit any wildlife conservation, but Anchorage has one of the coolest. The Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center has eagles, bears, wolves, bison, moose, foxes, and coyotes, to name a few. And if you're looking to ski, it's still a thing in Alaska this time of year!

Honolulu, Hawaii

Swim with the dolphins at Dolphins and You, or visit one of the many nearby treasures like Hanauma Bay Nature Preserve, Waikiki Beach, and Magic Island. Honestly, Hawaii is magical no matter where you go, but these spots are especially mystical.

Vancouver, Canada

Visit the Maplewood Farm! Your kids can see more than 200 farm animals. Or hop on the Aquabus and take a boat ride tour of Vancouver. Then take a stroll on Granville Island, where your kids can burn energy in The Adventure Zone, an indoor jungle gym, or watch a play in the Carousel Theatre for Young People.
