These cocktails will have you seeing fireworks.
Sure, the grill is covered, but what about the cocktails? No worries, these 10 drinks will have your guests seeing stars and add a bang to your 4th of July BBQ. A mix of old-school classics (our founding fathers would be proud) and festive libations, they’re the perfect way to raise a glass to the freedom of summer.
A berry explosion
Drop the blackberries, mint leaves, sugar, lemon juice, and lime juice into a glass. Stir gently and add seltzer, vodka/rum, and ice.
Blended bluey goodness
Coat the rim of the glass in sugar. Smush your blueberries, sugar, and mint leaves at the bottom of the glass. Then add ice, rum, lime juice, and serve.
Give it the old college try
Make your Jell-O mix and add vodka. Place a maraschino cherry in each two-ounce shot cup. Then pour the Jell-O mix into each one and place it in the fridge for four hours.
A solid frozen treat
Add strawberries, orange juice, and maple syrup into the blender. For each glass, pour half a cup of prosecco or champagne.
An amazing orange delight
Fill the glass with ice and fill halfway with Aperol. Fill the rest of the glass with prosecco and add a splash of club soda. Garnish with orange slices.
