Donald Trump is coming unhinged on Twitter again

Yesterday, former FBI Director Robert Mueller was named special counsel to oversee the investigation into the Trump team ties to Russia. Trump fired the last person in charge of that investigation — F.B.I. director James Comey. Well, he can’t put an end to this investigation like he had planned, so now he’s having a Twitter tantrum.

This is not a witch hunt. There are so many questions that fundamentally need answers so we can see if the cornerstone of our democracy — the voting process — has been influenced by Russia. No Trump, we can’t just sweep this under the rug and go play a few rounds of golf.

Journalist Lauren Wolfe stepped up to explain to Trump why calling what is currently happening a “witch hunt” is completely off base.

“And now sit down and take it.”

Every time some suspect behavior surfaces, Trump tries to deflect blame on “the media.” NPR points out he even brought up his grievance with the media while delivering the commencement speech to the Coast Guard Academy this week. “Look at the way I’ve been treated lately, especially by the media,” he said. “No politician in history — and I say this with great surety — has been treated worse or more unfairly.”
